Correction, Withdrawal, and Reversal Policy

Correction Policy:

Tadabbur Journal follows a specific correction policy detailed as follows:

  1. Tadabbur Journal encourages authors to notify it of any errors they discover or are informed of in their research after publication.
  2. Corrections are made at the journal's discretion, and a correction notice is published immediately.
  3. The old version is replaced with an updated electronic copy of the research in which the error was discovered, along with the correction notice and the date of the correction mentioned at the end of the research.
  4. The correction notice must be printed and attached to subsequent printed copies.

Research Withdrawal Policy:

  1. The journal has the right to retract the review and publication of the research if any false claims of authorship, scientific misconduct, or data fabrication are proven against the researcher.
  2. The researcher has the right to withdraw the research without incurring any fees if it has not yet been peer-reviewed.
  3. The journal has the right to charge a peer review fee if the researcher requests to withdraw their research after it has been peer-reviewed.
  4. An author cannot withdraw the submitted material after the peer review and publication process, as this would waste valuable resources, efforts, and the considerable time spent by editors, reviewers, and publishers in the review process. It should be noted that researchers are required to agree to the journal's specific requirements before submitting their research through the journal's open electronic submission system.
  5. If the author requests to withdraw the research while it is still under review by the reviewers, they must pay a penalty of (1000) Riyals or its equivalent in other currencies for each research piece.
  6. If the author refuses to pay the penalty, they will be banned from publishing in the journal for three years.
  7. If the author requests to withdraw the research after it has been accepted for publication, they must pay a penalty of (1000) Riyals or its equivalent in other currencies for each research piece.
  8. If the author requests to withdraw the research before submitting it for review, they must send a formal letter signed by the submitting author to the Editor-in-Chief.
  9. The journal's editorial management or editors will be informed about the research that needs to be withdrawn.
  10. The author will then be notified of the final decision regarding the withdrawal, and relevant parties will be informed if necessary.
  11. A withdrawal statement will subsequently be published on the journal's website.

Content Removal Policy

In exceptional circumstances, the Tadabbur Journal reserves the right to remove any research, article, chapter, or any other content from the journal. It may take such action when the content is defamatory, violates the intellectual property rights of a third party, infringes on privacy rights or any other legal right, or is otherwise illegal; or if a court or governmental order has been issued, or is likely to be issued, requiring the removal of such content; which would pose an immediate and serious risk to laws and policies within the Kingdom or to internationally recognized policies. The removal may be temporary or permanent. It should be noted that bibliographic metadata (such as the title and authors) will be retained and will be accompanied by a statement on the journal's website explaining the reason for the content removal.
